MilDef AB hereby announces end of sale for the 19"/2 Cisco Router. This end of sale affects these two router versions

The reason for the end of sale is that the Cisco products MARC and FESMIC that the routers are based on, are announced end of life from Cisco.
Spare parts Spare parts will be available for 5 years after end of sale.
Timeplan Last order date with MilDef AB is December 16th, 2011.
Replacement MilDef will during Q1 2012 release a new router based on the new Cisco 5915. The new router will have the same 19"/2 form factor and offer increased performance compared to the existing router.
